    Very tasty. Takes less time to cook compared and doesn’t feel heavy on stomach like other brown rice. But the price is high. If the price is around 70 per kg, would be great.

    Very nice, easy to cook

    I live in North India, so this rice is new to me as I only had it a few times while visiting Kerala some time ago. I cooked it today for the first time and my experience was very good. I chose to use the draining method, as from my readings it is preferable to reduce starch content. It takes longer to cook than basmati, so just need to plan ahead. The rice turned out very soft, yet not mushy, and it was very tasty even with North Indian dishes. I find it much more filling than basmatic rice, which usually leaves me hungry very quickly after eating. I will definitely buy again and would recommend to fellow North Indians to also give it a try.
